Lesson Plans
Dr. Elfreda Blue, a professor in the Counseling, Research, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Department, has her students write lesson plans using the document feature on GoogleDocs. She is then able to “watch” them and help them as they write.
Paul Carson, adjunct professor in the English Department also uses GoogleDocs to offer suggestions as his students are writing instead of after they have written 1,000 words.
Both faculty and students can also use GoogleDocs to collaborate on articles, assignments and presentations.

Data, Data, Everywhere
Professor Baskir, an adjunct professor in the Psychology Department used the spreadsheet feature of Google Docs. "Some of my students did not have SPSS at home, so they entered the data on GoogleDocs and I then exported it to SPSS."
GoogleDocs also has a form function in which you can create a form and the data entered is collected in a spreadsheet. Currently, the Office of Field Placement in the School of Education, Health and Human Services uses this to collect information about their student teacher placements.
